Finally, The Taraba State University chapter Of ASUU has, today, 16/02/2022, embarked on what it described as " Total, Comprehensive, Indefinite and Rolling" Strike in line with the resolution of its National Executive Council ( NEC).
The Chapter, in its meeting of today, took the irreversible position after members, in union,voted in favour of strike action to foster their long-time demands from both States and Federal Governments after failed accumulated promises.
Before moving and seconding the motions that ended the meeting, The Chapter constituted a monitoring committee and charged it with the responsibility to carry out a 24hr surveillance activity to apprehend and report any of its members who might be acting contrary to the resolutions of the Union for disciplinary action.
