Como 1970 Destroy Lens 9-1! A Champions League Night Nobody Expected 😂

Como Humiliate Lens 9–1! A Champions League Night for the History Books 😂

What on earth happened in France last night? 😂

Football fans expected a competitive Champions League encounter between Lens and Como, but nobody could have predicted what followed. Italian side Como delivered an unbelievable performance, destroying Lens 9–1 on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

This was not just a victory. It was a statement!

Douvikas Leads the Show

Tasos Douvikas was the main attraction, scoring three goals in the 7th, 32nd and 57th minutes to complete a brilliant hat-trick.

Nico Paz added another before half-time, while Lucas Da Cunha, Marc-Oliver Kempf, Mattia Liberali, Martin Baturina and Matteo Papaccioli also found the net.

Lens managed just one goal through Ruben Aguilar, but it did little to change the story of the night.

By the final whistle, the scoreboard read Lens 1–9 Como.

Como Make Champions League History

The result was even bigger than the scoreline suggests.

According to UEFA, Como matched the biggest winning margin in Champions League history. They also became the first visiting team to score nine goals in a Champions League match.

And remember, this is Como's debut season in the competition!

Coach Cesc Fàbregas and his players will certainly remember this night for a long time.

What Happened to Lens? 😂

Conceding nine goals at home in a Champions League match is a nightmare for any club.

Como were ruthless, confident and dangerous throughout the game. Lens simply could not find an answer to their attacking threat.

Football can be unpredictable, but this result was something else entirely!

What was your reaction when you saw the 9–1 scoreline? Did Como surprise you, or did you expect such a performance?
