How to Make 600g of Homemade Vaseline: Ingredients, Method & Uses

Making homemade Vaseline is simple, cost-effective, and free from harsh chemicals. This natural alternative is ideal for skincare, lip care, and hair moisturizing. Here’s a guide on how to prepare 600g of petroleum-free Vaseline at home.

Ingredients:

Beeswax pellets – 100g

Coconut oil – 250g

Shea butter – 150g

Olive oil – 100g

Instructions:

1. Prepare a double boiler by placing a heat-safe bowl over a pot of simmering water.

2. Add beeswax to the bowl and let it melt slowly, stirring occasionally.

3. Once melted, add coconut oil, shea butter, and olive oil. Stir the mixture gently until all ingredients are fully blended.

4. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

5. Pour into a sterile container or jar, and let it set at room temperature.

6. After a few hours, your homemade Vaseline will solidify and be ready for use.

Usage:

Lip Balm: Soothes and moisturizes dry, cracked lips.

Skin Moisturizer: Softens dry patches, heels, and elbows.

Hair Care: Tames flyaways and adds moisture to dry scalp.

Makeup Remover: Gently removes makeup without irritation.

Diaper Rash Protection: Acts as a barrier to protect baby’s skin.

This 600g batch can last for months, depending on use. Store it in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness. It’s free from preservatives and ideal for sensitive skin.

Always do a patch test before full application.
