We all know that both technology and biodiversity has become great factors to surpass and continue life. Life has become more meaningful and easy through the presence of biodiversity and technology. But we must not be overuse it and be dependent on it because it may affect us badly or else it may not produce the things necessary to live life, instead take care of it and use it properly according to its purpose.
According to the Oxford Dictionary of Current English, biodiversity means the variety of plant and animal life in the world or in a habitat. As what I have understand, biodiversity is where all life forms are present including us humans. We humans existed because of the presence of biodiversity. We continue to live life also through what biodiversity offers such the food we eat and the water we drink. Biodiversity pre- existed long before human existed so I can say that biodiversity really affect human`s life or should I say it is the reason why we, humans occur. In order for us to continue our life, let us take care our biodiversity, avoid thing or doings that would harmfully affect our very own diversity for it is we get food, water to think and a shelter to live on.
The dictionary defines technology as an application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. Technology helps us to make our life easier but in a good way of using. Unlike before, without technology, we do all things manually and it may took time to achieve and finished it. But now, with the occurrence of technology, almost all things we do made a lot easier and faster. Not only that, technology also made its way to be a channel to communicate love ones abroad or to those who live from afar. Especially during this time of pandemic, even there are safety protocols which include social distancing wherein the authority delimit us to meet a lot of people which means we may not able to see or meet our friends, love ones and relatives. But with the help of technology, we can still be in contact with them. We can talk to them anytime anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. More than that, technology provides more opportunities to those in need. And for the students, it will lessen their burden of spending time scanning the book. With the use of technology, they can just search anything in the web and everything will just pop up. But we also know that technology doesn’t only bring positive effect but it also caused a negative effect when not properly used. As what the dictionary defines, technology is made to help us human not to harm us so please be careful using the technology.
To sum it up, biodiversity and technology are both very vital in human`s life. As what I have said, biodiversity is where life exist without it, human will also not exist. Biodiversity comes first in all aspect because it is where life start. The presence of technology will also not exist if biodiversity is unavailable. Human utilize what biodiversity has to offer including technology which also produce by biodiversity through human. But technology is not for all use because it is made for practical purposes. Technology is an aid not a thing to rely on in everything do.
