When the wild fire broke out, I was told to ask for help
But when I did, I was mocked.
Told to reach out to some helping hand above the ditch,
I stretched my arms and got them broken.
Told to speak up that my voice really mattered,
But what did they do, get the best photo clicks of me and got them in the vogue newslines.
Even when I was told to defend myself and fight, I was tagged the villain of the peace.
Now I stand being judged by the same people who fed me with ideas to break free from this minority complex.
And when you read the headlines, you stand there and judge me of disrespecting the law...
What law?... The law that has made me the monster I am?...
The same law that seals this contract of hope inside me but when I want to make a jump, I become prey to the White lies of this same law.
I have turned to apathy as being the only Solution but whilst I sit and develop a laisez faire attitude, I construct a basement for ignorance and build-up walls of destruction.
