Yahoo as we know is now a thing of pride that is no longer shameful, nor disgraceful. And this menace has done more harm than good in our society. First we review, the reasons why youths partake in it, why it is hard for them to stop, How to prevent youths from starting it and how to stop the act after it has started.
Yahoo is simply known has internet fraud, it involves scamming people of their money through deceitful ways.
.Reasons why youths partake in yahoo is more than just the desire to make money, it goes as far as being call boss, stopping music when entering clubs and parties, buying expensive things, and the sense of wanting to belong, not forgetting the will to impress the opposite gender. But all these are the main reasons why Yahoo has become rampant in our society.
However, when caught or exposed they blame the government for not providing employment opportunities for them. That excuse may be applicable to graduates, what would we now say about a student in ss3 doing Yahoo? Can we blame the government? Of course not. Some say they didn't have adequate parental care and support. What of those who did and still did yahoo. These questions baffles me a lot.
.I'm not saying all yahoo boys have bad Intentions, most of them actually want to stop but the fear of being broke again drives the thought far away from them. Moreover, most of them don't have people to urge them to turn over a new leaf, I am sorry for this comment, but we have to be realistic about things at this juncture. Some religious leaders who are supposed to correct them, now serve as a source of vibe to their ungodly lifestyle. In some churches now choristers have now turned into hype men and hype divas who tend to cheer for these guys in places of worship, this makes other members look less of themselves and be turning into the act.
.To prevent people from doing yahoo, everybody has to work from parents to teachers to religious leaders to societal leaders to even Government.
.Parents especially mothers should regularly have sit down talks with their children so as to create a conversational relationship between them in order for the children to be able to discuss issues related to peer pressure from Friends to start the act. And also should provide for the children according to their capabilities. Don't provide for your ward according to how okay you are at the moment.... ladies and gentlemen.
