Many of our young boys have been lured into drinking and getting drunk thinking that is the way of the the big boys and that is the way a guy is supposed to drink.
Drinking is not a way that shows that you've become a man, niether does it makes you superior over other boys that don't drink,
it only gives you a feeling that you have made it in life not knowing you are just acting what is not real. Some will say "we take alcohol to forget about our sorrows",
that is not true, you only forget about your sorrows at that point where you are drunk after that you realise that the pain is still there, what will you do after that?
Continue drinking? No! Cast your burden on Jesus alone he is ready to carry it not alcohol.
Don't allow your friends push you into doing what you don't want, make your own decisions by yourself and stand on it. Some will come with this saying, "i am not paying for any soft drink" just to make you take alcohol.
I am not saying this to condemn those that take alcohol but try not put alot of pressure on your fellow guy or make him look inferior.
Be wise and don't fall for that trap!!
