Breaking: Two Former Governors, Others are being released from prison

Former Plateau State governor Senator Joshua Dariye, former Taraba State governor Jolly Nyame, and two other individuals have been released.

On April 14, the Council of State, which is presided over by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retired), approved the pardon of the prisoners. Protests were provoked by this choice.

In a phone conversation with our correspondent, Chukwuedo Humphrey, the FCT Spokesperson for the Nigerian Correctional Service, confirmed their release.
