everyone of us should know that, metastatic or spreaded cancer or malignant cancer tumor must be the final stage which is stage four
Even when there are voices saying that "carcinoma stage four , really does not mean 100% terminal" , but if stage four cancer stage, means that the one who has stage four cancer (no matter cancer is on where), he or she, the one with stage four cancer, may possibly decease, at any second, or any time, after being diagnosed with stage four cancer ( no matter the stage four is on where )

smoking cigarettes can shorten lung cancer smoker patients life expectancy to one month after being diagnosed with stage 3B lung cancer (my dad is a very good example on how cigarette smoking can really be able to shorten smokers lung cancer life expectancy.)
even when yes there are always smokers who do not really die soon , but there are truths that cigarette smokers are killed by smoker related lung cancer in even in one month or even 15 days. And my late dad is one of the victims of smokers related deaths in lung cancer that the lung cancer took his life one month after being diagnosed with stage 3B lung cancer
