In todays world, most people do not take into consideration the foods they eat and its relation to health. Just some few people who pay much attention to their diet in this world. The food we eat has influence on our body, mind and soul. There is a quote which says "Your Food Is Your Health" this shows that who you will become and what you want to become depends on what you eat. A healthy people builds a nation. There are some junk foods which have detrimental effect on human effect. Some of these junk foods are consumed with great relish among children, young adults, old men and women. It has become a fad in the society to consume such foods. Most of these foods causes Cancer, Hypertension, Diabetes, Liver disorders, Kidney disorders and the rest.
Some of the foods that are killing you slowly but steadily are Refined foods, Highly processed Meats, Foods high in animal protein, Soft drinks, French Fries.
Refined foods. Refined foods are not good for the human body at all. They are low or have no fibre in them. Refined foods like biscuit, bread and other flour made foods are of little or no fiber. A diet which is low in fibre is detrimental to the health of the consumer. It causes constipation and other Intestinal and digestive disorders. Substitute it with high fibre foods or products. You can choose wheat or coconut bread instead.
Highly processed meat. Processed meat is not good for human consumption. During its process of production, high amount of sodium is used in preparing it. And as we know, higher consumption of sodium aggravates Hypertension and Higher consumption of Potassium lowers Hypertension. Although, sodium is good for the body in someway but too much can be pernicious to human health.
Soft drinks. Soft drinks are packed with artificial sweetners which are of no nutrients to the human body. Averagely every soft drink contains about 85mg of sugar in it. So consuming two or more bottles per week is suicidal. Too much consumption can lead to diabetes. The best alternative for soft drink is organic fruit juice. Organic fruit juice are rich in minerals and vitamins.
French fries. French fries are high in saturated fats. Saturated fats are not good for human health, polyunsaturated fats and monounsaturated fats are rather good for human health.
