GOD CARES ABOUT WHO YOU MARRY!

I was reading this portion of the Bible today and it struck me so hard. 

God truly cares so much about you, down to the very little things about you.

He really cares about who you get married to.

In Deuteronomy 7:1-3, God warned the children of Israel not to marry from the other nations, nations such as the Canaanites, Jebusites, Perizzites, Hivites e.t.c.

" Neither shalt thou makes marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou takes unto thy son." 

(Deuteronomy 7: 3)

Why would God even care about who and from where they marry from? The answer is in verse 4

" For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly." 

(Deuteronomy 7: 4)

God knew if they married from other tribes they would turn away from serving him.

This is to tell you that God cares about who you marry, God will never lead you to marry someone that will take you away from him.

God wants you to marry right because God sees marriage as an extension of his kingdom and ministry.

A Godly marriage us an extension of God's mandate on earth.

God saw that Adam was alone, and he thought within himself that it wasn't good for a man to be alone, it would be best to have a woman, and God within his own jurisdiction formed Eve for Adam.

God wants you to get married to the best, within his jurisdiction, he doesn't want you to get entangled with someone that will hinder his kingdom purposes.
