How I Survive With Small Money in Port Harcourt in 2026

1. I no dey enter taxi anyhow

Instead of taking taxi from Rumuola to Mile 1 for N700, I dey enter Keke wey split the road. Sometimes I trek small. At the end of day, I save like N1000.

2. I cook for house

To chop outside now na N2,500 per plate. If I cook my own rice and stew for house, that N2,500 fit last me 2 days. Market for Mile 3 dey cheaper for evening.

3. I use earning apps

Instead of pressing phone for nothing, I use apps like Premise and Lodpost to earn small small. At least data money dey come out.

4. I no dey follow crowd

If everybody dey go buy something because say e trend, I no dey rush. I wait.

The economy tight for everybody, but if you plan small, you go still survive for PH.
