I owe you a poem

I owe you a poem

I owe you a feeling of love and care like an egg in my palm

I owe you a smile

I owe you the walk of your life

Cause I see how you love from a thousand mile

I owe you a kiss

I owe you a kiss when it rains and whenever the lightening sounds

I owe you a kiss when the sun sets and a kiss for your pain

I owe you for cold mornings

Short sleeves and goose-bumps

And a warm arm wrapped tightly around my shoulders

I owe you the moon

I owe you a light in the dark

So you'll see all my love like it's noon

I owe you nothing

Or maybe i owe you something

Like a penny for my thoughts

Or for some crazy fight in a dull afternoon

Or how I don't mind doing dumb things

Like how dumb I sound saying I owe you nothing

Knowing perfectly well that  i owe you everything.
