Once upon a time, a small town of just a few hundred people lived in relative harmony with the earth and each other. They were a tight-knit community and had very little contact with the outside world, let alone the extraterrestrial.
But one fateful night, a fleet of alien ships descended upon the village, abducting some and leaving others in terror. The villagers, thrown into chaos, desperately tried to defend themselves, but their primitive tools and weapons were no match for the superior extraterrestrial technology. One by one, the alien ships swept through the village, seizing their inhabitants and disappearing into the night.
In the midst of the invasion, two villagers, Julie and Matthew, were caught up in the struggle. After a long and harrowing chase, they eventually outran the alien ships and managed to escape the village. Destitute, they trekked through the wilderness, struggling to make their way through the hostile terrain.
Along the way, they forged an unlikely bond and fell in love with each other. The thought of a happily-ever-after in a far-away land kept them going, day in and day out. But little did they know, their joy and hope was about to be shattered.
When they finally reached the border of the alien-controlled area, they were stopped by an alien patrol and told to surrender themselves. Desperate and scared, Matthew had no choice but to accept the alien's demands. He struck a bargain with them, sacrificing Julie to save his own life, claiming that she was his lover and had been abducted by the aliens back in the village. The aliens, suitably impressed, let him go and took Julie instead.
Julie was thrown into a prison cell and her captors subjected her to torment and humiliation. But despite everything that happened, Julie held onto the hope that Matthew would come rescue her. Day after day, she waited, though her hope was slowly fading.
Suddenly, out of the blue, Matthew came to her rescue. He had learned of her abduction and traveled back to the alien stronghold. He had acquired a spaceship and a crew of brave and loyal adventurers. With them, he stormed the prison and managed to break Julie out.
Julie was overjoyed, but the reunion was short-lived. Matthew, it turned out, had only come to bargain for Julie's return. He had struck a deal with the aliens to double cross Julie and take her back to the village to be sold into slavery.
But in a twist of fate, Julie and Matthew's crew managed to overpower their pursuers and eventually make their way to freedom. They flew off into the night, fleeing the alien stronghold and thanking the stars for their new-found freedom.
Julie and Matthew left their miserable past behind and decided to move ahead and make a fresh start. Despite all the betrayal, heartache and sorrow, there was still hope. Hope that one day they would find true happiness and build a new home in a place far away.
The end.
If fate was luck then luck is fate. What about destiny. If destiny is fate then there is no lord who knows people destiny.
