The continuous debate as to which phone brand is the best between iphone and android is still not left behind for sure, even till this moment.
Amongst other phone brands, the iphone and android seem to have risen higher and the head to head comparison between these two have been going on since their conception.
If you ever had the opportunity to handle both an iphone and android, you will figure out that there are a lot of similar characteristics between the two. When it comes to loading speeds, start-up speed, camera quality, and any other measurable component you can think of, both Androids and iPhones are almost indistinguishable.
But then the price of an iphone could really cost a small fortune and this is due to the fact that it is made by Apple. You can get almost the same experience that an iphone gives in an android phone too and this can reduce the cost effect to a minimum.
In terms of performance, iphone tends to gain the upper hand. Apple's closed ecosystem makes for a tighter integration, which is why iPhones don't need super powerful specs to match the high-end Android phones. Generally, iOS devices are faster and smoother than most Android phones at comparable price ranges.
Looking at the differences between the two, we also take into consideration, the hardware. Only Apple makes iPhones, so it has extremely tight control over how the software and hardware work together. But android phones like Samsung, HTC etc are offered google software.
Also, while looking at the hardware, there are series of android phones such as Oppo, Samsung, Xiaomi to pick out and buy. The android is more customizable such that if you don't like the default sms app and launcher, you can choose to change it.
Privacy is another big differentiator as Apple doesn't use your data to target ads at you like Google does, and keeps most personalisation settings (such as where your office is) stored locally on devices rather than in the cloud.
The distinctions between the iphone and android still seems to continue as years go by, with people reigniting the old debate about which phone works better between the two.
