There are moments in life when you feel so good you want to shout in glee, run in the neighborhood but there are moments in life when you feel so down That no one can please you, not even a clown
There are moments when you're ashamed of what you've done you feel like hiding your face from the eyes of everyone
There are moments when you realize your mistakes and wrongs You bow your head, sigh to yourself, but then you move on
There are moments when you feel alone
Like a small boat sailing the vast sea
You look to the skies for hope, your hands for strength and plead the turbulent sea for mercy
There are moments when you feel left out
As if in this ruthless world you have no place you hide in a little corner, a silent spectator Till someone or the other gives you some space
There are moments in life when you are lost and in Misery's maze you go round and round Searching in vain for that helping hand Which everyone else seems to have found
But there are moments when you do gain hope And that is a feeling worth clinging on to for a while and there are moments when you feel content with yourself And that, my friends is the time to smile.
