My plan

As I'm sure a lot of you know, responding to everybody is going to take a while if at all because of what's going on. As I get more information I'll try to keep this updated best I can

Many of you have reached out over the past couple of weeks asking how I'm doing. Thank you for every prayer, message, phone call, meal, and act of kindness. They've meant more than you know.

A couple of weeks ago, I experienced my first seizure, which led to the discovery of a tumor on the left side of my brain. Last week I underwent awake brain surgery to remove the tumor.

Today I met with my neuro-oncology team and received the pathology results. I was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer.

I was also presented with the current standard treatment options, including radiation and chemotherapy, as well as the possibility of participating in a clinical trial. Right now, I'm taking the time to understand everything and continue meeting with my medical team before making any decisions.

I'd appreciate your continued prayers—for wisdom, peace, my doctors, and everyone walking this road with me.

This has been a life-changing few weeks. I don't know exactly what the road ahead looks like, but I do know how grateful I am for the people who have shown up for me. Thank you for carrying me through this.

For those who have asked how they can help, I've created a GoFundMe to help offset medical expenses, lost income, transportation, and the many unexpected costs that come with navigating a diagnosis like this. More than anything, your prayers, encouragement, and simply sharing this post mean the world to me.

Thank you all for your love, prayers, and support.
