Wow! It's uncanny how similar our path has been. I have taken much, time, thought, and prayer and knowing who I am, how I want to live my life, and what I value, I just made the decision for a DMX and am scheduled for August 7th (ironically the same day I married my late husband 33yrs ago. They tell me only my left breast is affected, but I'm ok going flat. Who knows maybe I'll get a beautiful tattoo over it down the road. Life goes so fast and throws so many curve balls. I just want to carry on as effortlessly as I can. Life changes all the time and I guess this is another chapter, but I don't want to spend my time in and out of facilities and driving to one appt after another, subjecting myself to who knows what...No, I'm choosing to take a little more recovery time on the front end, then spend time in my garden, on the water, and with my family. Write down your pros and cons, do you research and listen to your heart. It's a lot, but you'll do what's best for you. I'm sorry you're in this, but here we are. At least we have people around us that understand. 💞
