Hi, I'm new. Two weeks ago I was told I have Her2 positive +3 growing at 60% on my left breast, negative on hormone. Right now I'm sitting here at my Oncology appointment to see what best treatment plan we need to start right away. I'm honestly nervous, scared and my mind keeps gong back and foward on what I should do. My surgery mentions chemo, radiation and surgery my Oncology was not to sure about radiation because I have other rare genetics conditions (Alpha 1 antytripsin) and since my lungs are already compromised due to this that have already caused me Asthma and Hypoxia during anesthesia. Because of my autoimmune condition I'm nervous how hard this treatment are going to affect me since I always get all side effects from all medication. I don't have much help. My husband is the only one working while I also take care our young son who also have same genetics conditions and also a neurodivergent. I have so many therapies and medical appointments with him every day. I feel like with so many challenges I have fought thru and strong person to keep going specially for my son but won't lie and said I'm not nervous. Please I need some guidance, support, any words to help me. In debating if I should go thru chemo or leave it alone and don't do any chemo. Two years ago I lost my grandmother from Mestatasi, nobody knew. So know one knows where the cancer came from by the time doctor catch it it was too late but my grandmother last me thank God till 90 years old. But in the same year I lost a very close friend from also breast cancer and she did receive treatment and chemo. Cancer was gone for a while but came back and with chemo and all she only lived 3 more years, she was in the 50's. Did not Even had a chance to see her young son graduate high school the following year.
Please tell me your opinion, advice, your story. Thank you so much
