Apologies in advance if I should not post in here
This is a pretty huge jump it feels like, but I am just wanting to see if there are any similar findings stories out there, and any advice tips to relax etc.
For about two years I have had several swollen axillary lymph nodes and groin, accompanied with night sweats. The first while I had them I had a couple doctors kind of laugh that I was worried about them, but at the time I had this feeling they should be looked at. After 6-8 months I had a dr send me for scans. They came back with the report saying something about their sizes and most looking normal, please follow up in 6 months. I went back at 6 months, and it was very similar findings, said most look normal fairly comparable to last findings, please follow up in months. BI-RADS 3. It is nearing that month mark again, but I went in to see my Dr after finding a lump in the upper inner quadrant of my breast. Now I go in for a breast ultrasound (which they have only scanned the axillary nodes and groin before)... I am kind of freaking out that 2 years ago that push to continue to pursue the lymph nodes being looked at wasnt silly and it was trying to help me catch this. All I had to do was call about this lump, and I get a scan in a week.
Anyway, did anyone have a similar story, am I being crazy.. how do I stop thinking about it, bevcause it is still on my mind all the time . I hope noone is offended by me writing in here without an actual diagnosis. I just dont have anyone to talk any of this through with
