I love your attitude. Halfway there is a huge milestone, and it sounds like you came prepared. Blanket, snacks, and Netflix is a pretty solid plan for getting through the day. I hope this infusion goes as smoothly as possible for you.
Every treatment you finish is one step closer to the end of chemo. Some days are definitely harder than others, but making it to number three shows just how strong and determined you are. Even on the days when you do not feel strong, you are still showing up, and that counts for a lot.
Be extra kind to yourself over the next few days. Stay hydrated, eat what you can, and get as much rest as your body asks for. Recovery after each infusion can be different, so do not feel guilty if you need to slow down.
I know this journey is not easy, but you are doing something important for your future. It is okay to celebrate the little wins, and infusion number three is definitely one of them. Before you know it, you will be posting that number four is done. I want to reach out and offer my support. Although I haven't gone through a diagnosis myself, my sister faced a similar situation of breast cancers and found a valuable resource that helped her navigate her journey. Her oncologist recommended the book 'The Steady Path Through Breast Cancer' by Dr. Alex Michael , available on Amazon. It provided her with a deeper understanding of the treatment processes, guidelines and friendly recipes. And now she is free of cancer I thought it might be helpful to share this resource with you.i highly recommend checking it out . Sending you love, support, and prayers during this challenging time.
Wishing you an uneventful infusion, minimal side effects, and plenty of comfort today. You have got this, and there are so many people cheering you on every step of the way.
