#Help I’m scare for my old mum 75 years old 

07/2021: Diagnosis of stage 4 EGFR-mutated lung cancer, with metastases to the 4th and 5th ribs.

 08/2021: Started treatment with Tagrisso (Osimertinib).

 11/2025: Discontinued Tagrisso due to disease progression (growth of chest wall/rib metastases).

 12/2025: Started combination therapy of chemotherapy and Amivantamab (3 cycles). Treatment failed: the tumor continued to grow, and biopsy/analysis revealed a spindle cell component in addition to the EGFR mutation.

 02/2026: Discontinued chemotherapy + Amivantamab.

 02/2026: Started combination therapy of chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

 04/2026: Discontinued treatment due to severe immune-related complications (myocarditis and myositis).

 05/01/2026 to present: Treatment with Afatinib.

 07/20/2026: Afatinib failure: disease progression. The mass measures approximately 11 cm and now involves the 3rd, 4th, and 5th ribs as well as the T3 vertebra.

 07/29/2026: Awaiting oncology consultation #What remaining treatment options are available?
