🔥 MY DECLARATION

11 months ago, I quit alcohol and cocaine.

5 months ago, I quit vaping.

3 months ago, I quit weed.

I was addicted to all of them.

Then cancer entered my life.

The diagnosis.

The surgery.

The fear.

The hospital bed.

The uncertainty.

It changes you.

What I've realised is that addiction doesn't always disappear. Sometimes it just changes form.

Since coming home from hospital, I've been binging on sugar, junk food and coffee.

The same addictive mindset that once chased alcohol and cocaine started chasing the next hit of dopamine from sugar.

And if I'm being completely honest, it got out of control.

Sunday was my last day.

I'm drawing a line in the sand.

I've spent the last year removing things that were destroying my life. Alcohol. Cocaine. Vaping. Weed.

Now it's time to remove the next addiction.

Sugar.

Many cancer cells are known to use large amounts of glucose, which is why glucose based PET scans can often detect cancer.

After everything I've been through, I want to give my body the healthiest environment possible to heal, recover and thrive.

No more sugar binges.

No more junk food.

No more selfsabotage.

No more making excuses.

I've already fought battles that nearly destroyed me.

I've already overcome addictions that once controlled my life.

I've already faced cancer head-on.

This is about becoming the strongest, healthiest version of myself possible.

Real food.

Quality sleep.

Training.

Recovery.

Discipline.

Consistency.

For life.

This isn't a 30day challenge.

This isn't a quick fix.

This is my new standard.

I've been given another chance, and I refuse to waste it.

Day 1 starts now.

Hold me accountable.
