It is the website and application that enables users to create and share content and participate in social networking. It enables people to interact and exchange ideas through virtual community and network. In other terms it's like a small village with so many activities going on inside it. It's the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, You tube, Linked In and many others.
The positive side of it is that people can interact no matter the distance, you can search for a long list friends and be able to get them, people learn alot, the jobless can get connected to get jobs, people can market their items and services, people can learn from others, exchanging ideas, it makes lifestyle easy in terms of interaction. It requires the use of network and it enables one to use the network smartly by earning some cash since there are some legit platforms that can help in earning money.
The negative part of it is that some people use it in a bad way, they can hack other people's account and start asking for money or use that account badly, some people are cons, they can create false apps to lure people. Some can start war of words and it goes public. These are people that create bad image about social media, everything about them is scam.
