Surviving a relationship

Everyone wants a companion to share life with but it is not easy finding someone to fulfil such a task.Relationships come with a lot of expectations,and a lot of expectations come with a lot of disappointments.Truth be told there are a lot of factors that make or break a relationship,it is never just one thing.You see when building a house the most crucial part is the foundation phase,it doesn't matter how beautiful the design is if the foundation is faulty.Holding a relatitionship together is exactly like building a house...and it should never be one sided.As one would need building materials to build a house,a relationship needs communication,trust,loyalty and respect.A lot of compromising and accepting that you won't always agree with each other goes a long way in keeping a relationship going.There will be good days and bad days,,then there are best days and worse days.,Now to overcome such days you need to have a partner that will hold you when you don't have the strength,cry along with you,laugh with you,be blunt with you,pray for you and push you to get back up when you don't see the need to get back up.Given the difference in everyone and relationships there is never a single specific solution to making your relationship work,it's a diverse world.
