Tiwa Savage gave further details about her smash song "Somebody's Son" at a concert she gave in Lagos over the weekend.
Tiwa asserted in a statement that the "Somebody's Son" she was alluding to was actually Jesus Christ, despite the fact that most listeners thought the song is about love.
Tiwa claims she was cautioned that making the song her debut single would be problematic because it was perceived as a song for girls.
"I'm going to share a story with you guys. Many people told me this song would be a major hit, but only girls would sing it when I was writing it. They then stated, "By making it your first single, Tiwa, you're taking a danger. I reassured them not to worry because I will someday tell them this story.
As you can see, Jesus is the son I was referring to.
