Seven Tips to take care of the teeth

  1. Brush twice a day: Brush your teeth at least twice a day for two minutes each time using fluoride toothpaste. Brushing helps remove plaque and bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum disease.

  2. Floss daily: Flossing helps remove food particles and plaque from between your teeth and under the gumline where your toothbrush cannot reach.

  3. Use mouthwash: Mouthwash can help kill bacteria and freshen your breath. However, it should not be used as a substitute for brushing and flossing.

  4. Limit sugary and acidic foods and drinks: Sugary and acidic foods and drinks can erode tooth enamel and cause cavities. Try to limit your intake of soda, candy, and other sweets.

  5. Visit your dentist regularly: Regular dental checkups and cleanings can help prevent dental problems and catch them early when they are easier to treat.

  6. Consider using a mouthguard: If you play sports or grind your teeth at night, consider using a mouthguard to protect your teeth.

  7. Quit smoking: Smoking can stain your teeth and increase your risk of gum disease and oral cancer. Quitting smoking can improve your overall health, including your dental health.
