Forex simply means foreign exchange and it works 24hrs a day excluding the weekend. It is risky to trade in the forex market and the same time can be an holy Grail.
The forex market has 4 different sessions which are:
1. SYDNEY SESSION: This is the smallest and the calmest of all. It serves as Australia trading hour and AUD, NZD pairs have initial movement.
2. TOKYO SESSION: This is the second session in the forex market, it is the Third largest, has low liquidity and volume with high spread. The JPY pairs move the most.
3. LONDON SESSION: This is the third session and the most active of all. It has a high liquidity. GBP, EUR pairs has initial movement.
4. NEW YORK SESSION: This is the last trading session of the 24hrs market. USD, CAD pairs moves the most. Volatility dies after 12pm EST.
