tumour in the corpus callosum

Does anyone have a tumour in the corpus callosum or know someone who does?

I’m worried about my dad’s symptoms. His symptoms are short term memory loss and confusion. His short term memory is terrible now and it has really deteriorated in the last few weeks. We need to continually repeat ourselves to him and he asks the same questions multiple times a day.

He also rambles about stuff that makes no sense, sometimes what he says is quite amusing but ultimately it’s sad and scary as it’s nonsense.

In the last few days he’s asked about how my gran is, my gran passed away five years ago, this has been difficult to handle.

His symptoms started just ten weeks ago when we noticed he was mixing up dates and times. His memory and confusion has progressively worsened.

He finds some small tasks difficult as well such as getting dressed etc.

He also hasn’t picked up his phone or asked about it in a long time.

He had a biopsy a few weeks ago and he is due to start chemo and radio in two weeks.

I am interested to hear if anyone is experiencing anything similar to this with a tumour in this part of the brain.

I can’t believe he was totally fine just three months ago. It is crazy how quickly things can change with this disease.
