At the heart of WHN’s mission is a belief in the power of legal literacy and social equity. WHN offers programs in legal education, training for youth, and direct legal assistance—all designed to prevent violations of law and enable active participation in a fair society .

WHN has demonstrated its commitment to educational and legal empowerment with initiatives such as providing scholarships to underserved students. In early 2025, WHN awarded 56 scholarships—including 40 in a single batch—to support students from various provinces pursuing legal studies, often with additional training via webinars to cultivate deeper understanding and anti‑corruption values .
In addition to domestic operations, WHN has expanded internationally: in September 2024, the organization officially launched a regional branch in Hong Kong, intended to offer legal protection and educational support to Indonesian migrant workers and sailors abroad. Plans are underway to establish branches in regions such as Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, the United States, and Australia .
Governance & Organizational Culture
WHN draws on a multidisciplinary membership—legal academics and practitioners, healthcare professionals, maritime and aviation personnel, international relations specialists, and business experts—all united by a shared vision of educational equality and justice. Importantly, membership in WHN is free of mandatory dues, welcoming any who align with its goals .
