Get Away With Ulcer!!
Who talk say Person wey get ulcer no fit enjoy? When an Ulcer patient meets a Doctor, they are advised to NOT eat spicy foods but, instead they should have Bland foods. In recent research, spicy foods do not cause ulcer and Bland diets don't necessarily help in Ulcer Treatment. As you read this posts, you will learn the Foods to avoid and the ones to eat as an Ulcer Patient.

Foods to Avoid
1. Citrus fruits and juices
2. Tomatoes (fruits or products)
3. Meat with high fat content
4. Caffeinated or decaffeinated drinks (Example Na Tea or Coffee)
5. Alcoholic Beverages (Dear, that wine sweet and? But stop am since you get ulcer)
6. Chocolate
7. Spicy Foods!! (gan gan, what is Party Jollof rice without Spicy rice or meat?)
Oya wait, make you no vex because, I have an alternative!!
Foods to eat
1. Fish, Lean Meat,Eggs and Beans
2. High fiber Fruits like Tiger nuts
3. Vegetables (yes oh it's time for Shoki)
4. Olive oils
5. Warm taste drinks like water, Blackcurrant Tea, Chamomile tea.
6. Fat-free mayonnaise
7.Potatoes. Potatoes contain unique antibacterial molecules that help in treating stomach ulcers.
Deep-frying isn't a proper method to prepare foods. I personally don't recommend it.
Fried foods can worsen the stomach Ulcer and, weaken the protective lining of the intestines.
Cooking Methods Preferable for Ulcer patients like us
1. Roasting
2. Baking, Boiling, grilling and sauteing.
Fatty foods cause Slow digestion in the body, thereby causing foods to ferment, which leads to excess gas and bloating.
Eating at the right time, right portion and balanced diet can lead to a healthy life.
