10 Historical Photos That Have Made a Lasting Impression

These are historical photos you've never seen before: 

1. London's First Female Policeofficer on Duty, 1968. 

PC Norwell Roberts, on point duty adjacent to the Charing Cross Station.

2. Soviet Scientist & Doctor with a 2-Headed Dog.Vladimir Petrovich Demikhov attached to the side of the black dog's neck a second head, obtained from a small brown-haired puppy.

3. Photos of the moon dating back to 1863. This is one of the photographs of the moon made by Henry Draper in 1863 as he studied inhis station at the Hastings-on-Hudson. 

4. Frozen trucks in a cold boston in 1920s. Back when it used to get cold and stay cold in the winter. 

5. A man in 1903 after catching the worldbiggest black sea bass. 

Edward Llewellen displays the World's Record Black Sea Bass, he had caught, it weighed 425 lbs., time 41 min., Photo taken at Catalina Island, California on Aug. 26, 1903.

6. Egyptian guides with tourists at ther pyramids in 1867.

7. Oldest wooden school in the US dating back to 1716. Unknown exactly when it was built, but appears on records in 1716. However, it is unlikely to be older than 1702.

 

8. Funeral of Bruce Lee in Hong Kong in 1973. This is the last known photo of the Funeral of Bruce Lee at Kowloon Funeral Parlour (Hong Kong 1973).

9. Siberian winter in 1960 with snow reaching the levelof power lines. In this photo, these are telephone lines, not power lines. The power lines are the ones off to the far left in the photo.

10. A woman walking on frozen Mississipi River at St. Louis, Missouri in 1905. The Mississippi river was reported to have frozen totally in St. Louis at least ten times between 1831 and 1938, before the Alton Lock and Dam construction was over.
