A mishap on the Dodowa-Shai Hills course killed 23 understudies while heading to Anum Secondary School.
On The Pulse on Thursday, Principal Emergency Medical Technician Issah Kpanbey confirmed the event while talking with anchor Ayisha Ibrahim.
"The vehicle was loaded down with students who were going to Anum Secondary School and had a tire exploded," Mr Kpanbey said, refering to data procured at the scene.
He further expressed that the driver couldn't stop the vehicle after the tire blew inferable from overspeeding, making the car tumble.
"The driver did all that he could to protect the circumstance, yet he couldn't stop because of the great speeding that we were advised about." He let JoyNews know that the vehicle "somersaulted and afterward became destroyed."
As per him, most of the 23 students on board the vehicle were genuinely harmed, and they were shipped off the Dodowa District Hospital.
"They were totally harmed," says the storyteller. A couple of them experienced minor wounds, yet truth be told, most of them experienced huge wounds like cracks and head injuries.
"They're all at the Dodowa District Hospital at this moment." With the help of the Dodowa District Police Command, the Dodowa District Fire Service, and the National Ambulance Service in Dodowa, we moved them there," he said.
