Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable Omolalomi, a Nigerian singer, has changed his mind about his affiliation with the All Progressive Congress, or APC.
The musician, who once claimed he was paid to support the All Progressive Congress during the Osun elections, said on his Instagram page that his life was in danger.
The Zazu singer swore he never intended to campaign for the APC; rather, he was invited to a gig, ended up in the APC office, and was forced to accept the arrangement; hence, money was involved.
By omitting to pay him his amount, he further charged that the other party had broken their contract. Later, Portable renounced his affiliation with the cult group "One Million Boys," which he had earlier claimed to have founded.
He posted the video and said:
"This has reached a point where I feel the need to speak up... Please understand that I did not intend to campaign for the APC; rather, it was a show that was scheduled before I actually arrived at the APC office. However, as a man, there was no need for concern because I had to complete the task because it involved money. And by "1 million males," I really meant "1 million followers." My life is being threatened, so please look at this.
I AM PORTABLE OMOLALOMI AND MAKE MY LIVING FROM MUSIC.
