Facing the giants in your life

David killed a bear with his hands

David killed a lion without a weapon,

But Goliath the giant, mocked the Israelites and their God

Sending waves of intimidation,

Across the land of Israel

No one dared, or even thought he can fight

The fiercest battle that ever won,

The survival and conquest for David - only a  young boy,

Without any fighting experience,

Who came out to fight the giant

It maybe a lion or bear that you are facing

When everything seems virtually impossible,

And all the wild experiences of the past

Make you helpless in the raging battle

Don't resonate with your body size and strength,

When the enemy's jeering voice,

Taunts you claiming victory

It's not about you, but the one who wins battles

Who makes a sling the most powerful weapon,

For God will rescue you when trials come

And overpower the giants on your way

If you claim the power in the mighty hand,

of the everlasting God,

AMEN!
