Nigerian music star Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, has finally responded to recent allegations made by Fatai Odunsi, who publicly claimed to be the singer's father.
The controversy began when Odunsi's video went viral online, in which he stated that he has been suffering from stroke since 2022 and accused Asake of abandoning him during this difficult period. According to Odunsi, the artist has repeatedly ignored his attempts to make contact.
On Friday, Asake broke his silence regarding these claims by posting a message on his social media accounts. Though the singer's response was indirect and open to interpretation, it carried emotional weight that caught the attention of his followers.
In his response, Asake, a former member of the YNBL Records owned by Olamide chose to express himself through a Yoruba song, adding another layer to the unfolding situation as fans continue to analyze the meaning behind his cryptic communication amidst these family allegations.
"You can't please everyone, you can't please the world. But anything you are doing, just do it for God. My own father wants to cajole me, and I have sent so much money to him. I have struggled for so many years, but they want to make life tire me."
