It's a scholarship program that partners with many Brazilian Universities. It offers both Master's and phD's to applicants. Students from many countries, including Nigeria, can apply if they meet the requirements. 

 

 *BENEFITS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP.* 

1.Exemption from paying enrollment and tuition fees at the host university.

 

2.Access to university restaurants.

 

3.Access to classes,libraries,laboratories and other university services.

 

4.Monthly stipends ( up to 24 months for a Master's and 48 months for a phD).

 

5.No application fee. 

 

The scholarship does always cover:

 

International airfare

Student visa fees

Passport costs

Accomodations

Health insurance 

 

 *ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS* 

1.Proof of Portuguese and English language proficiency is generally not required. 

 

2.Applicants must be a citizen of an eligible country with diplomatic relations with Brazil and apply for Master's or phD program. 

 

3.No age limit

 

4.Applicants must have a strong academic background and performance. 

 

5.Educational qualifications:

For Master's programs, applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree( or be in final year and expected to graduate before enrollment)

 

For PhD programs, applicants must have completed a Master's degree before beginning the phD programs.

1.Is the scholarship fully funded?

The scholarship doesn't cover international airfare, student visa, passport costs ,and  accomodations

4.Is IELTS required?

No, it's not required to apply .

 

5.Do i need to speak Portuguese?
