Google seriously cautions Gmail account owners.!!

According to an email from Google this week, reminder emails will be sent out at least 8 months prior to any action being taken on your account. Google has a policy of deleting inactive accounts after two years of inactivity, including associated Gmail addresses.

The Gmail accounts known as Google Mail account is very vital tool for almost every individual who participates in online businesses of every kind therefore permanent deactivation of a Gmail account might be the closure or termination of one's business.

Almost 80% of every individual that has a smartphone has a registered googlemail on it and then for Google mail has circulated the world at large. Google Mail account is used to send information, receive information ,send money ,receive payment ,open online websites ,open online apps, assistance , and register on so many different platforms there fore gmail's place a very vital role in our phones and deleting it may lead to a loss of various variety of information from one's phone. 

In May 2023, Google announced that it would begin permanent deactivation of inactive accounts in December 2023. An inactive account is a Gmail account which has not been visited or has not been logged in or out or which no activity has been carried in for at least a period of 2 years or more.

The decision to delete abandoned or inactive accounts is primarily driven by security concerns. Inactive accounts are often more susceptible to fraudulent attacks, as they are less likely to have two-factor authentication enabled.

To ensure that users have the opportunity to keep their accounts active, Google will send several notifications to those whose accounts are eligible for deletion. This will allow users to re visit their account and prevent their accounts from being permanently banned.
