Governor Al Haris Evaluates Government Work Programs with OPD Heads

Jambi, August 6, 2025 – Governor of Jambi, Dr. H. Al Haris, S.Sos, MH, held an evaluation meeting with all Heads of Regional Government Organizations (OPD) at the Pola Room of the Jambi Governor’s Office. The meeting was also attended by the Provincial Secretary, Dr. H. Sudirman, SH, MH. The primary goal was to review and sharpen the implementation of current and future work programs.

 

Governor Al Haris emphasized the vital role of the Provincial Government as an extension of the Central Government in the regions. He reiterated the importance of supporting national initiatives such as the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, Koperasi Merah Putih, and Sekolah Rakyat.

 

He further noted that Jambi Province’s Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) had been ratified and must align with the RPJMDs of districts and cities to synchronize with the President’s Asta Cita vision and mission.

In addition to program evaluation, the meeting also discussed preparations for the 80th anniversary celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, including planned activities and competitions.

 

Through this evaluation process, the Governor hopes that the performance of all OPDs will become more effective and that regional development will continue in line with national policy directions.
