My name is Clement and I am in SS3 in Abuja. I am also working as a sales boy after school to pay my WAEC fee.
It is not easy. Many of my friends have already paid for WAEC, but I have not. My parents cannot afford it now, so I decided to hustle by myself.
Every day after school, I go to the shop. I work from 4pm till 8pm. My Oga pays me small money at the end of the month. From that money, I decided to be saving N1,000 every day for my WAEC.
At first, it was very hard. Sometimes customers will not buy, and sometimes I will be tempted to use the N1,000 to buy food or data. But I told myself that if I don't pay WAEC, I cannot write my exam and I cannot go to university.
So I started using PiggyVest app to lock my money. Every day, I transfer N1,000 to the app. The app will lock it so I cannot touch it until November. This method is helping me.
I also found out that many students like me are looking for how to make N1,000 daily to pay school fees. Some people are looking for apps that will dash them money, but there is no app like that. The only real way is to work.
These are the things I am doing to make extra N1,000 daily:
1. I help my Oga sell more. I arrange the goods well and I talk to customers politely. When we sell more, my Oga sometimes gives me extra N500.
2. I sell data to my friends. I buy cheap data and sell small profit.
3. I use http://Hawkit.ng to do small Instagram tasks after work. Sometimes I get N200 - N300.
My WAEC fee is N50,000. If I save N1,000 daily for 50 days, I will complete it. I have already saved N12,000.
My advice to any SS3 student who has not paid WAEC fee is this: Don't wait for someone to dash you money. Start saving small small today. N500 daily is better than nothing. Use app to lock your money so you will not spend it.
I believe by God's grace, I will pay my WAEC fee before December and I will pass my exam.
If you are also in SS3 and you are hustling to pay your fees, share your story in the comment. Let's encourage each other.
