We met on Snapchat. I was just scrolling through stories that night, not expecting anything. Then I saw her snap - she was laughing, natural, no filter. I replied to her story with something funny. I thought she would ignore me like most people do.
But she replied back.
We started chatting every day on Snapchat. At first it was just streaks and small gist. Then we moved to late night calls, sharing memes, talking about life, school, and our dreams. She is different. She is real, respectful, and she doesn't play games.
Since May 21st, 2026, we have been officially dating. That's almost 6 months now and she still doesn't have a boyfriend - because I am the one. We have had our small fights like every couple, but we always settle it.
What I learned from dating a girl from Snapchat:
1. Don't rush. We chatted for weeks before we started dating.
2. Be consistent. I checked on her every day, not just when I needed something.
3. Be real. I didn't form big boy for her. I was just myself a guy with phone, data, and dreams.
4. Respect her space. She doesn't have to post me every day to prove she loves me.
Some people meet in school, some in church. We met on Snapchat and it's working for us. Social media is not bad, it depends on how you use it.
