HOW TO SUCCEED IN UNIVERSITY
(THE ONLY OPTION)
It is perceived and believe in the nigeria university system that there is a way out that is another alternative.
Attending college for the first time is filled with high expectations, excitement, nerves and a lot of hope for the future. If you were anything like me, you were lucky enough to get accepted into your dream school with a lot of high hopes about the upcoming year. I couldn’t wait to move into my freshman dorm, no matter how little or crappy it might have been. I was undoubtedly excited. The year was fresh, and I couldn’t wait to start living a college lifestyle and meet the people I was going to be friends with for the next four years of my life -- hopefully, even longer. I had never been so excited about back to school shopping, and I started packing and preparing for the move months in advance.
Permit me to show you some few ways to succeed in the university:
Build your Grade in school from your first year:
Your grade you graduate with in school is determined by your commitment and efforts in your first year in school, so therefore, you need to build your grade from your first year in school.
Don't miss assessment that's test, assignment and attendance:
Continuous assessment contribute 30% of your grade in each course you take in school, missing out from assessment hampers your chances of having a good grade in that said course.
Don't Miss Classes:
Basic information and teachings most at times are been disclose by a lecturer at the cost of lecturing which might not be part of his notes, some key functions and ideas will b shared in class which the lecturer will not mention in his notes he leaves behind in class. I strongly recommend you don't miss class.
Read ahead of time:
Develop your reading habit and time table ahead of time, prepare yourself before time, approach each letcure with something ahead of your lecturer so as to ask reasonable question to develop yourself.
Read ahead of your lecturer so as to ask good questions while he is lecturing to give you a clear and vivid understanding of the course.
