Music to me is a fruit to the soul. From the melodies, the rhythms to the lyrics by musicians is one thing to behold. Let me explain!Put on your country boots and cowboy hats,we are going for a horse ride!
Over the years I have grown to listen to a number of music genres. They are a lot of course, so I will probably indulge in a few of the genres I do love. Don’t get me wrong alright! I do love the following genres of music from my perspective:
· Hip Hop
· RnB
· Reggae
· Riddims
· Crank
· Rock
· Country music
Just to mention but a few. I will go with the last on my list Country music.
Country music in itself is sweet-soothing music. The romantic and melancholic tunes just blow my mind away. The string instruments played I haven’t even written about.
The Love songs
If you want to fall in love or out of love then this is definitely the best genre to listen to. The voice of Dolly Parton singing 'Think about Love` or just the heart breaking 'Jolene` will bring and sorrow alike. Or if you are a lady and life just weigh you down and love is not 'edible’. Please listen to the late Tammy Wynette's 'Stand by Your man` and drain your sorrows away.
Now without forgetting the legendary Kenny Rodger's "Lady" that one would want to listen to after a long day at work. Your loving partner there by your side probably sipping some coffee, then this is for you. “Remember when “by Allan Jackson would also be an added treat.
"Next tear drop fall" by Chuck Fender is a few of the many.
Heartbreaks
Recently I listened to the song "Mercy" by Brett Young or even "Colder Weather" by the Zac Brown Band. If you got to cry, if your soul just feels so low-then wait no more!
Now of all the country music I have listened to, none ever made me want to get saved like "Hurt" and "When the man comes around" by the great Johnny Cash. Songs of pure peace with ones-self ready to meet the Alpha and the Omega. If this music doesn’t bring you closer to God, then I don’t know where your salvation would come from.
The Gospel country music
Dolly Parton did a marvelous singing in "When the roll is called up Yonder" and "Power in the Blood”. Brad Paisley is also good at such genres.
So, Folks, there are a lot of genre music in the world but Country music will remain to be my all-time best. Many a musician have left the scene but many are yet to be born. Nonetheless, I would probably venture into music some day and put out a country music hit for all of you. Just maybe!
All the same, I will leave you with a few names of my best artistes and do yourself a favor to listen to some sizzling, mind-boggling music of: Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Hank Williams, Randy Travis, Loretta Lyn, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Toby Keith. Just to mention a few.
