A truck overturned on Outering Road today, causing panic. Screams filled the air as onlookers fled.

According to witnesses, the truck lost control around noon. It swerved violently before rolling into a ditch.

“I saw it tilt and crash,” said Mary Wambui, a shopkeeper. “Everyone started running and shouting (kutisha).”

The driver, trapped inside, was quickly rescued. Emergency teams arrived within minutes to assist.

Police reported no serious injuries occurred. The truck carried vegetables, spilling them across the road.

Bystanders gathered, watching the chaotic scene unfold. Traffic halted as officers cleared the wreckage.

A local mechanic, John Kamau, described the incident. “The truck’s brakes might have failed,” he said.
