Lawmaker, Abdulsobur Olawale, dies at Tinubu’s JOS rally.

In the political world, Olawale went by the name Omititi and represented Mushin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly.


Abdulsobur Olawale, a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly who represented Mushin Constituency II, passed away after collapsing at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off in Jos, Plateau State.


Those who invaded Jos on Tuesday to support Tinubu included Olawale.

The lawmaker was often referred to as Omititi.


Under the condition of anonymity, an APC official told Daily Trust that the incident had occurred.


"On Sunday, we spoke to while we both happened to be at Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon's (GOS) home. He appeared to be in great health.


Without knowing the specifics of the situation, this could indicate high blood pressure.


The insider was cited as adding, "Whatever could have caused his death, this is extremely startling and tragic.


Setonji David, the chairman of the information, strategy, and security committee of the Lagos State House of Assembly, acknowledged the occurrence in a statement.


"We regret to inform you of the passing of our friend and colleague, Hon. Abdulsobur Olayiwola Olawale (alias OMITITI), represented Mushin Constituency 02 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.


Hon. Olawale, a second-term member who served as chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Community Relations till his tragic death, unexpectedly departed us and plunged the entire House into sadness.


This death impacted us hard. He will be sorely missed by all of us beyond words. We beg you to join us in prayer right now for his family."
