Mass and weight

Mass is defined as the quantity vof matter present in a body.mass is measured vin kilograms it is a scalar quantity.

Weightis defined as the earth pull on a body Nd measured in Newton v. Vector quantity.

Why weight varies

1. Distance of polar axis

2. Shape of the earth.

3. Magnitude of  force of attraction.

Fundamentals and derived units

  Fundamentals units

 1. Meter unit of length

2. Kilograms uint of mass

3. Seconds uint of time

4. Amper units  of current

5. Kelvin unit of temperature

6. Candela unit of luminous intensity

7. Weber unit of magnetic field .

Derived units

1. Acceleration is meter pre seconds square.

2. Velocity is meter pre second.

3. Volume is meter pre cubui.

Fundamentals qunatity are basic qunatity that provides standard unit of measurement
