“Mr KK Mwenyewe was…” – Emotional Statement That Left Many Asking Questions

“This is tragic and sudden. Zachariah Kariuki (Mr KK Mwenyewe) was a very talented and creative comedian,” wrote Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro in a moving tribute shared through his official X account.

 

The unexpected death of KK Mwenyewe has sent shockwaves across the country, especially among the youth who admired his humorous take on politics and current affairs. Known for mimicking public figures with sharp wit, KK had built a name as one of Kenya’s fastest-rising online comedians.

 

Ndindi Nyoro, a vocal lawmaker and the current Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Budget and Appropriations Committee, expressed deep sorrow in his message, describing the loss as both painful and hard to accept.

 

“We send our most heartfelt condolences to his family following his passing on. It is still unbelievable. Poleni sana,” he added.

 

KK’s comedic talent, especially his bold satire, had earned him recognition and love from thousands online. His work not only entertained but also reflected the realities of everyday Kenyans.

 

Nyoro concluded his post with his well-known phrase: “May KK Rest In Peace. We are African and Africa is our Business,” underlining his Pan-African identity and sense of community.
