Post-NYSC Orientation Camp Reflections
The NYSC orientation camp felt like a world of its own. It was a mix of intensity, discovery, and unexpected connections. It was more than just a program; it was an experience that revealed different characters, personalities, and perspectives. I met some truly amazing people.... Daniel, Ope,Esosa, Gideon they are individuals I probably wouldn’t have encountered in my everyday life. That’s the beauty of life sometimes: you meet strangers, and in the blink of an eye, they become part of your journey.
Being without my phone for a while took a toll on me. It was uncomfortable, even disorienting at first. But in that silence, I found a different kind of clarity.
I also went through a physical challenge. I had an ankle injury I can’t remember if I mentioned it before but my leg was swollen, and the constant marching made it worse. Eating was regular though I can't miss that for anything 😆😆😆😆, and everything felt physically demanding. Still, I pulled through. With the little I had, I made it work. I solved problems as they came and kept pushing.
Now that the orientation camp is over, I find myself reflecting deeply. I’ll keep updating you as things unfold so stay tuned. There’s more to come.
