Racism

Earlier the better,

They leave, the cold utter

of a nobel decision of surrender,

Whose battle was it?

Of unknown colonial intruder,

Depriving off African much enjoyed peace,

Of long enmity of brother country,

Breaking treaties of each boundary

Signed under the guidance

Of common personal benefits.

Earlier the better

I say soon or never,

We are our own guinea pig

Coloured by some ancestral print,

Pedalled by some red of black's

Blood of humanity!!

Our own selves,

Marvelling at the stench,

Of our very own corpse

Because of the difference in tongues?

Now not later,

I insist this day of the calendar

Let's stretch beneath the skin colour,

In unity plucking this outdated poster

Of this difference of tongues

In unison bring the coiled answer

The everlasting cement to the cracks

Of our intellectual politician's walls

you and I will shelter

In the common shadow of black's peace
