Rapper GloRilla Arrested for Drug Charges Amid Home Burglary Investigation

In a surprising turn of events, Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla was arrested on July 22, 2025, after law enforcement discovered drugs at her Atlanta home while responding to a burglary.

Authorities initially arrived at the home after reports of a break-in. While investigating, officers claimed to have smelled marijuana. They secured a search warrant and found marijuana and a controlled substance in her bedroom closet.

Though GloRilla was not home at the time, she was performing at the WNBA All-Star Game, she turned herself in voluntarily and was released on a $22,260 bond the same day.

Her legal team has denounced the arrest, calling it a misuse of police resources, and argued that GloRilla is a victim, not a suspect.

“Instead of focusing on the break-in, they arrested her for being a homeowner with a small amount of weed,” said her attorney.

This incident adds to ongoing conversations about drug laws in Georgia, celebrity legal treatment, and how law enforcement prioritizes investigations. GloRilla, who rose to fame with the hit “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)”, has not made a public statement, but fans are standing by her.
